Econo Lodge Lakes Region

Located far from the tourist areas at the intersection of two highways. The walls are quite thin and on a busy weekend you can hear clearly into neighboring units. The rooms and property were very clean. There was daily room cleaning. The furniture is old but in good condition. The breakfast options are limited - there was some hot food on the weekend, but on Monday the only options were cereal, bread and a pancake machine. Overall if you come in not expecting too much, it's adequate. Basically you get what you pay for.

We had 2 double beds. All 4 pillows were very small. We asked for extra (were only given 2), and one of them was filled with a prickly saw dust type filling that wasfallimg out. idk what it was. The beds were small and uncomfortable. They seemed more like air mattresses, although they had springs. The air conditioner did not work well. The door was a pain in the butt to open. you had to scan the door card at least twice before it unlocked, and then the door would stick. It also didn't shut behind you. which I believe is a fire hazard. The breakfast was pretty bad. The eggs were ok...and the waffles were good. However, the timer on the waffle maker wasn't working, so you had to make sure not to burn them. Tater tots were cold and soft, bagels seemed like they were from the dollar store, half the toaster wasn't working, the paper plates and napkins were the cheapest kind possible. Some of the decor displayed was ugly and cheap (a plastic red poinsettia "plant" that was all messed up was on display in the breakfast area). Lastly...although this place is conveniently located, it was also on the corner of a very busy and noisey intersection.

The lady working the front desk is exceptional. She has a great work ethic and is very pleasant.

Great place to stop by with family or business

Reasonably maintained property but rooms smelled of smoke.

Bare-bones but thorough. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, tv, spacious enough, more than decent bed.
