Clean and basic

Had a great stay here, the location is excellent. Staff are super friendly, check in was very smooth. They allow dogs to stay which is an added bonus! Rooms were spacious clean and comfortable. And the value for money is excellent!

Convenient location in town centre, nice big clean bathroom

Rooms 6 a bit tired, curtains barely met,various extension cables around the room including next to a radiator 🫢 Tv didn't work, reported it as soon as we checked in, owner said he would come and have a look at it but never did, in my opinion it looked like the aerial socket was worn on the back and it hadn't worked for a while

very nice staff and bar/resturant. Nice menu and ggod food. Good selection of beer.

Room was tatty and not very clean. The common areas were dirty. The bed was uncomfortable. I was asked to pay on arrival having already paid via booking.com

arrived at the hotel, very old building in the centre of alnwick. shown to our rooms. beds clean and comfortable, but the rooms are in desperate need of decorating and upgrading, but due to a fire in the kitchen a few months ago the rooms had to be put on hold. Restaurant was lovely and the food excellent. staff very friendly.

The amount of stairs No window in the room

The rooms were above the pub, so up a good bit of stairs which is a challenge with luggage. The room was quite small, difficult to open our luggage. It was clean and comfortable. One checks in at the bar which was both really interesting and a little rough, again with said luggage. The staff were very friendly and the pub a popular, busy place.
