The Westin Xiamen

Booked two upgraded 45m2 room rooms for 5 & 4 days. Received one small corner room 38m2 & one 45m2. Aircon in the 38m2 corner room not working properly. Room temperature was too hot and stayed around 23/24 degrees, so didn't get much sleep. After 2 nights asked to change rooms to the 45m2, but they said no because all the rooms were booked out.

The best and most sincere care by the concierge service ever was provided to us by two young men namely 文哲丹(Joy) and 張建明 (Alan). Both of them are kind, warm, and professional with patience and proactive in helping us without reservation. Our joy of stay was amplified fully by their countless efforts. The Westin Xiamen should be very proud of such employees they have and we can't thank them enough for making our 3-night stay a memorable one. In addition, Zara of the club lounge has also extended her services and care to us during the happy hours.

Spent a night's stay here. The concierge staff are most helpful. They were able to arrange for a city tour for a group of four of us at short notice. We communicated via WeChat a day earlier, and through a translation app service, we were able to chat in English. The hotel is still rather new. The room is spacious and clean. The evening cocktail at the executive lounge is quite sumptuous. The view of the room is also superb.

The Westin in Xiamen has stylishly designed and appointed rooms. Great quality for the price. The staff are, without exception, courteous and the concierge desk most helpful. There is a restaurant which specializes in deliciously original tapas – quite a surprise. The location is, admittedly, not exactly central, but there is a subway station within walking distance and a shopping centre adjacent to the property.

Expectations are always high for the Westin, everything and everyone was top notch

convenient location, next to a plaza where shops, food and grocery store was available. breakfast options available at same plaza where some cafes/bakeries open early. staff was very helpful with the bags when i had to carry my sleeping son.
