Runaway Beach Resort by Magical Memories

The view of the pond was nice. The villa smelt like paint and bleach which was unpleasant.

Property was clean and ready when we got there. We arrived early and were allowed to check in early. We had a slight problem with the toilet flushing properly but everything else worked fine. It was very close to the theme parks and fairly priced.

Nice place but checking is not at the same place. had to use taxi twice to get there

Don’t be late for check in or you will be in trouble! No one is there to explain how to get the keys and gate code. The office is almost 6 blocks away and nowhere show the address. The apartment is a cockroach nest!! They are everywhere!! Especially in the kitchen! I never in my life see something like that...

in my opinion the had a deceptive listing....told us the night rate....which we paid in advance...once we got there, they added administrative fees etc that almost DOUBLED the advertised link.... expedia should be embarrassed....certainly I will think carefully about using the expedia web site again....

We only like the pool.However everything else was a disaster.The website show pictures of a gym.This gym is not even open to runaway resort customers.We had to check in at a different location which made it confusing because the the confirmation email stated they check in is only from 6am - 6pm. we had to book another place.This runaway beach resort had cockroaches and charged me an additional $147 us for cleaning fees and resort fees.

The dryer did not work at all had to dry clothes 3 or more times. The lights would turn on and off at random. Turned heat on and it smelled like something was burning. One bathroom had no shower curtain so there would always be water everywhere. Piece of cabinet on the floor fell off and there was a giant hole behind it. There was not frying pan. Tv would turn on and off by its self. Every time we would call the office no one would answer

Had to take out your own trash to a dumpster before you left or it was a $100.00 TV sets where form the 90's It was clean and beds where ok

it was OK, we would have like hangers in the closets but other than that it was fine.

I love that all the prominent stores were in close proximity of the resort...also loved that it was gated and needs a code to get inside the community. Nice pool area for kids and adults.
