Runaway Beach Resort by Magical Memories

Nice resort but had no room service we had to do our own beds and take the trash out. Wish they would let you know when your doing the the reservation

When I got here With a Handicap child I was put into a room that had no elevator but had 17 steps to go up and Down.... The place offered us another room but was Nasty ....then they get us another room the next day not what we had but at least it was clean.... I go to the front desk and tell them the eye on the stove wouldn't work...The front desk person says do you want me to fix.... why would you ask that question if you knew it wasn't working....do you want the next person to not have what you advertise they will be getting... Magical Memories did not seem to care...Oh yeah I was on the phone with Hotels.com representative and was on hold for a hour and a half.....no response....

The hotel was perfect, we enjoyed everything about it. The check in staff was really nice. We will definitely book here again.

The beds had springs sticking you and forget the sofa bed.... Maybe 2 inches thick with both mattered put together. The tv was from the 80's maybe the 70's horrible

This is a pleasant place overall. It's clean and comfortable. It's close to the places we wanted to visit. People are very friendly. We got smiles at every turn. Our only complaint is the noisy beds. Thank you!

We really enjoyed it although the toaster didn't work and the coffee maker was useless.

I travel to Orlando 1-2 times a month. I have annual Disney passes and have been to NUMEROUS hotels! I was meeting my friend who lives in Chicago. She was traveling with her daughter. It is not explained but you are NOT booking with Runaway Beach Resort. You are booking with Magical Memories who own different properties in different resorts. My friend was place in a completely different resort!! It took over an hour to place us in the same resort. Also, initially her cab dropped her off with her bags at Runaway. After the cab had left she was told she had to check in at a place over a mile away!!! She had to call another cab to take her to check in. The pool was filled with leaves, the beds were lumpy, no blow dryers or coffee in the rooms. Absolutely awful. I had stayed here years ago when it was called Ditka's. It is completely different and for all the WRONG reasons. Find somewhere else to stay!

Magical memories our booking agent was terrible in handling our problems No cable tv. Ice maker not working etc.

We reserved the hotel for 6 days vacation for kids playing in Disney world. The condo resort are good and well maintained. But no house keeping even it's included in expedia statements. The extra fee we paid to "break and clean" the room is also higher than the statement from expedia ($115 from expedia and $135 paid in hotel). The staff is so terrible. The wifi was gone after second nights. I called the hotel service three times and was told the wifi is not maintained by magic memory hotel but the resort club. Then a lady from the front desk told me that it can not be repaired until the cable company come to replace the equipment. Our vacation was in the situation without wifi. Sound good for a "vacation" with two kids without wifi.

It was the wonderful stay for my family. We enjoy the comforts of the room. Only issue we had was with the cable. But they fixed it with in one day. Unfortunately there was no Wi-Fi. But we was OK without that. Overall we would love to stay there again.
