Runaway Beach Resort by Magical Memories

The condo was clean and well maintained, as well as providing toaster, dishes etc. Having a washer and dryer was great, traveling with children, you go through a lot more clothing. I was able to do a load of wash each night when we returned from the theme parks. The staff was very responsive to our needs. The pool was lovely. The only down side was, the wifi signal was very weak so, trying to plan park options for the next day wasn't always easy.

Cannot comment on other rooms but ours was terrible. We slept on mattresses that were so old they had a large hump .in the center with a pit on the sides. Extremely uncomfortable. The ceiling fan blades were so caked with dust, .we .dared not turn them on. The living room sofa smelled so bad, it was close to putrid. Very disappointing .considering they charge $95.00 for a cleaning fee, ( not to mention you have to empty your own trash into the dumpster) .We stood outside our door for 45 minutes thinking we were entering the wrong door code, (keyless .entry) when calling the office we were told they made a error thinking .we already checked out. Although it was close to activities and had a full kitchen I would not recommend. When we .went to the office to return the iron, we were informed that if we gave a good review we would receive a 20% discount. Hmmmm.

Runaway beach supposedly had Maintance issues so they "upgraded" us to Windsor hills. It was no upgrade!

The resort had top of the notch facilities. I loved the security of the place, and the way they helped with directions.

Misrepesented on Expedia. $147 non refundable damage/cleaning deposit.

My stay was great had a good time and was close to thing to do. I would stay here again.

The villas are no more than 15-20 minutes from all the local attractions and theme parks. There really were no staffs, they're only there after you leave. The office staff were very friendly and the lady on the over night hotline picked up every time I called and I called a called quote a few times the first night because we arrived after hours. The villa we got was a little dated, had 3 SDTVs, no HDTVs but it was not a big deal... We were on vacation and did not need the TVs until late at night when we got back and we only used the room as a place to crash. Very convenient with a washer and dryer and full kitchen.

Some furniture was torn and shows wear. The second floor guests were a pain. There is no insulation or sound barrier. All night and very early in the morning was stomping and talking. Also I spent an hour waiting to get into my room, only to find out that they gave me the wrong room number. another bad thing is that now where did it state that I had to go off site to a Property management office to pay and sign papers.

Beautiful vacation resort. Shopping and dining all within a 10 mile radius and easily in walking distance!

I like it there but they were remodeling so we weren't able to stay there
