"Excellent all round."

Staff were welcoming, obliging and good communicators. Food was excellent, both for dinner and breakfast. Wine selection good. All pricing very reasonable. Pretty rural location and beautifully quiet.

Rather trivial, but all our party of six who had supposedly soft boiled or fried eggs were dissapppinted with over cookedness. Room lacked sufficient clothing space and sink in bathroom far too small.

"Accommodation reasonable restaurant very disappointing standards are dropping"

Breakfast was good and has been consistent over the times I have been. Dinner was the biggest disappointment after a number of visits the restaurant seems to have lost its edge. Meal cold not well cooked poor produce.i have always rated the restaurant and food 5star. NOT ANYMORE. VERY SAD.

Brilliant Location. Lovely views and some nice local walks. The inn is genuinely dog friendly - it’s not a case of tolerating pets, they go out of their way to make sure pets enjoy their stay too.
