Excellent breakfast selection. Great welcome and service by staff. We’ve stayed before and returned for beautiful setting, great views looking west, great food and handy stop over on our longer journey south.

"Loved our stay. Price included a lovely breakfast too."

We stayed in the Pennsylvania Cottage which was great. All you need to make your stay enjoyable. Fridge stocked with milk and fresh juice. Three double bedrooms, one on ground floor and a downstairs loo in addition to the one in main bathroom upstairs.

Thermostat was on and it did get hot during night.

Location was perfect, many walks close by and surroundings beautiful.

The service in the restaurant in the evening wasn’t great. We was left waiting a number of times when given the menu before they came back to take our order. Didn’t feel like 5.* service. Breakfast in the morning however was delightful
