Easy access from airport and easy going staff. Large comfortable room

We were staying only one night as Etango is the closest accommodation to. Windhoek airport. And we were departing on a flight at 7.45am. The airport is 45 minutes from town and Etango is only 5 minutes away. We arrived at Etango at 8pm after a tour of Namibia and host Robert looked after us well. After showing us to our room we went to the dining room and were soon presented with drinks and a delicious meal of oryx steak, vegetables and salad. Even though everyone else had finished their meals. At 5.30am the next morning Robert drove us to the airport at a cost of N$100 each.

I often arrive at Hosea Kotaka International airport late or early, and as anyone who has traveled there knows, it is quite a distance from available lodging in Windhoek (40 clicks, or about 25 miles for you Americans), and on this journey my colleague was departing early one morning and my flight was early the next morning. I was very, very pleased with making the choice to stay at Etango! The location is Perfect for airport access. The meals were outstanding, the room was comfortable and clean with fresh smelling linens, there was ample hot water and a large shower, and the host was a true joy, going out of his way to accommodate our odd schedule and meal needs. I will definitely stay here again, and will suggest that others do the same. It is also a very genuine 'local' place to stay. Highly recommend!

Best hotel if you have an early morning flight to the airport or need to be close to the airport. It is a quite game lodge set in the beautiful Namibian bush, yet 5 mins from the airport. It has everything you need, including teatime/snacks at 4:00pm, inclusive dinner at 7:00pm and breakfast included. The airport shuttle is very efficient and they are always on time. Give them a try the next time you need a place near the airport. Nothing fancy, but has everything you need and is quiet.

This property is a perfect option for lodging if you need to be close to the airport. It is very clean and quiet, out in the beautifully namibian Bush. Dinner, breakfast and afternoon tea are included in your cost. They will gladly pick you up and drop off at airport for a small additional fee. Just email that you need to be picked up and your flight details. Rooms were clean and there was great hot water for a shower! Would stay here again, plus it saved an hour both ways into the capital Windhoek.

The service was good and food was good as dinners were included. We stayed two nights and no room cleaning service on the next day. Therefore no emptying of dust bins, no additional toilet paper and drinking water, no checking if we need extra towels. For sure they will provide if we had asked but we thought if basic things were taken care of it will then be perfect.

The facility is an actual cattle ranch that has built a guest facility on it. The staff was so gracious. We got there @ 2 PM. They had Tea for us @ 4 PM. Dinner was included @ 7 PM. Breakfast was also included, but we had an early flight. They even took us to the airport @ 4:30 AM. The charge was N$80 per person. Right now that is $6.50 apiece. The facility had good Wi-Fi. My only complaint would be that there was in TV in the rooms.

This was a great stay just a few minutes from the airport. Awesome service, front desk manager met us at our cars at night to help us carry our things into the atrium, and was very friendly and welcoming. There is a fee for the shuttle service, and a fee for lunch or late dinner if so decided. The food was great and above expectations! Wifi worked well. We had a late flight out the next day, and we were welcomed to hang out around the grounds past checkout. They have some land to take a walk on, and a peaceful pool area. I would stay here again!
