Probably the best hotel I stayed in! There is nothing I can write here that will be able to describe the views from this hotel (both from our room and the pool). The service in this hotel is incredible. The stuff will do anything to accommodate your needs. Can't recommend this place enough. Only one things to consider is the fact that to get up the hill is not that enjoyable or simple by foot. The hotel offer shuttle service twice a day and they are great about being flexible about the timing of drop-off and pick-up. Something to consider, but other than that, it is a must!

A truly wonderful stay. Couldn't fault it. From the wonderful warm welcome on arrival to all the little touches and assistance, nothing is too much trouble. The villas are wonderful with views to die for, the terrace was perfect for sitting out in the evening and lazing around in the day, perfect for us after 3 weeks travelling around Thailand. Dont let the hill comments put you off, we aren't super fit but walked from the centre of the village to our villa in 10 minutes; we also rented a scooter which is super easy and so reasonably priced. We very rarely revisit somewhere we've been before but are already planning our return next year. Thank you Kitty and Thior x ps we absolutely loved having the monkeys on our terrace, if it's not for you don't be put off, close the doors and after a wander around they'll move on and leave you in peace.

We had a great stay at Ban KanTiang and really enjoyed the villa, the small town nearby and the beaches at southern Koh Lanta. Our host was very service minded and helped with everything. Really a pleasure to stay at this beatifull resort.

Only good things to say about this place! Pros: - Huge, beautifully decorated villas - Superb view over the coast - Clean - Fantastic, helpfull service.. always smiling! - Amazing pool Cons: - The food from roomservice was average - A small & steep hike to the city, but the hotel has free transport a few times a day - very windy

The staff provided excellent assistance with transport, ordering food, and access to tours. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Be ready for the monkeys and lizards...but this is southern Thailand...

We recently stayed at Baan KanTiang Villa Resorts and our stay exceeded our expectations. Hotel service was wonderful from check-in to check-out. The hotel was beautiful, our veranda was huge and had a wonderful view and since there is a total of only 8 villas, then we really felt secluded and up in the mountains. We rented a car which was a nice way to see Old Lanta Town and some secluded beaches and restaurants. The southern part of Ko Lanta is the place to be if you're looking for a quiet, off the beaten track, type of vacation. The kids loved it too! We also loved Pad Thai Rock n' Roll which was just at the bottom of the hill. Can't wait to go back and would highly recommend this piece of paradise!
