Clean, friendly accommodating with requests.

Our cottage was really small. The bed was pushed up against the wall, so that one of us had to climb over the other to get out. There was no maid service, no ice, no fresh towels unless we took our dirty ones to the office, and really intermittent WiFi.

The cabin was ok, clean enough for what it was. Mattress was very hard and beds were uncomfortable. There was no television in our cabin which was extremely disappointing and the Wifi was very weak. The children's play cabin was extremely dirty and even creepy. We left a day early despite paying for both nights. I would not recommend.

The room we reserved was not the room we were given. The office is only open a few hours per day for checkout and check in. We arrived after it was closed, so there was no opportunity to change our room. There was not a fitted sheet for the sofa bed. Housekeeping is not every day, but we were not at the hotel during office hours to get clean, dry towels. No air conditioning in room, although it says so in description. Overall, you need to read the fine print when staying here, but who wants to spend their time on vacation reading pages from the binder left in the room?

We had a wonderful experience staying at Bay leaf Cottage. Such a lovely place! Warm and cozy.

We had to wait for our cabin to be cleaned. We had gotten there early and waited outside until 3:00 to check in, but had to wait another 15 minutes before we could go in.

Charming property! Only problem was the size of the bathroom, could barely turn around in there!

Orbitz description stated room had queen and twin and sofa bed. There was no twin which wouldn't have been a problem since there was a sofa bed for our third (13 year old son). But when we pulled out the bed, the frame was not level. There was no way to adjust so we put the mattress on the floor. Realized in the morning that the sofa is on lifts, so no way to use the pull out. It would have been nice for hotel to realize we had three guest and alert us to that fact so we could have adjusted or moved.

For starters the name says Bistro and cottages. Well there's no bistro at all and the "cottages" are more like shanties. You walk in the door after breaking through the cluster of moths and gnats at the door way and once inside you realize that the entire shanty is crooked. You literally have to walk uphill to go from the doorway to the bedroom. Ok I can live with that. I can even live with the fact that it is smaller than any hotel room I've ever been in. But then you get to the kitchen and all of the dishes are filthy beyond belief. The bathroom had hair in the sink and shower from the previous guest. When attempting to get into bed I was disgusted by the stained sheets and even more disgusted by the Beatles on the ceiling falling down on to me. I had absolutely no privacy because the blinds were broken so it was like i was putting on a show for everyone else. And to top everything else off, the owner was nothing more than a rude loudmouth that yells at her guests and employees out in plain sight for all to see and hear. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else....Anywhere else....If you want to enjoy yourself.
