I couldn't stay because the smell of the room was so bad. It looked and felt like it had not been rented in a very long time.
Small, cramped room. they do not clean the room between days unless requested.
While in town for a conference at a larger hotel, I was able to stay here in my own cottage. The little deck was a great place to unwind after a long day. Each morning the sun rise was beautiful just outside my window. The area is so quiet and close to all of the reasons why you would be in the area.
The rates were reasonable. the room was comfortable and the breakfast was great, with several choices to choose from. It was near the harbor, which made it easy to get fresh sea food. there were several places to dine out in.
This hotel has a nice location with a clean room and comfortable bed. The outside porch bulb was out so I had trouble finding it. Very tiny bathroom. No TV. Be careful in selecting your room. The owner was rather snippy in responding to my feedback.
This is my 5th time coming to Bay Leaf Cottages. Love the new colors you have painted the cabins and shutters. The rooms are so clean and have everything you need. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This is the most wonderful gem in a great location.
20 Min walk to small beach. Too small room. Affordable.
The lobby close to soon 9PM. They left the key at the lobby. they forgot to wash the room before we arrived. At least the front guest was alone and left the room clean. Also, we had towels and extra clean sheets in a bin at the entrance. The bathroom is small. The room is warm. It's quiet. Lunch was really great.
Great quaint place. Rooms are small but comfortable.
Small but had all we needed it came equipped to cook lobsters witch we did every night so fun.
