Holiday Inn Express Dunstable by IHG

Had to wait to check in as no one on reception breakfast was rubbish asked for 1 sausage bap and 1 bacon bap received 1 bap with 1 sausage and 1 bit of bacon didn't receive the other breakfast items we ordered not really value for money

Hotel and room were hygienic and pleasant. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and I am likely to stay here again in the future.

We have been staying at this hotel for many years and have always found it excellent. I understand that rooms have to be minimal due to civic 19 but our room was a disabled one with a disabled bathroom which was found to be wanting a good wipe down as there was water residue on handles etc in shower area. The whole feel of the bathroom was not very nice. Fortunately I had my covid wipes with me so I took photos of before I wiped and after. We were in room no. 125. I hope in the future we will not be given this sort of accommodation.

First time with holiday express very impressed with everything on offer

Don’t agree just because you book with Expedia or other online hotel finders that a £50 card swipe is taken at reception on arrival. Not acceptable neither is it necessary as when asking the staff member why this is required, the response given “the manager decided to put this in place because other hotels in the area do it” this is not the case as I have spoken with a number of hotels in the area who actually do not have this policy!

The £50 pre-authorization should be stipulated at the time of booking . If I had known about this I would not have booked . It's a policy I vehemently disagree with .

Room was absolutely spotless and the breakfast one of the best hot buffet types. the bread provided is absolutely amazing would like to know the supplier
