"I would forgive the countless faults for any attempt at service or a warm welcome. Awful hospitality"

It is a beautiful setting and a lovely historic building. Room comfortable and facilities perfectly adequate.

The welcome on arrival was luke warm. on departure a grunt was given on handing back the key. Cooked breakfast extra charge nly notified on check in. Bar on Saturday night closed at 10pm and bleach bucket came out at 9.45pm to add to the zero ambience.

A great location for touring W Sussex, nice staff and lovely breakfast. Bathroom was very clean and roomy, bed comfy, very spacious room for bikers as we like space to organise our kit.

Rooms could do with some maintenance- windows stiff to open, bathroom door hinges loose, rusty radiator and flickering light.
