Lamplighter Motel

This is an older motel and has little to recommend it. It was not our first choice but most others in the area were already fully booked.

A room with 3 separate bedrooms was nice for our family group. The price was great. The bathroom had been updated and there was plenty hot water and good water pressure. It was sufficient for a few hours sleep The staff was nice - Check in was from a tiny window outside with a buzzer. One of the windows wouldn’t lock. The bedrooms had fans but one didn’t work. The beds were not comfortable; and I could feel the springs under my back. The towels were thin and quite worn.

Decent place to stay for tournament out of Redbud.

It was a very comfortable stay. Only issue was room was bright in the day. Which is not their fault but I work nights. So was a little hard to sleep. But all in all comfortable and very clean

Older property, but inside rooms were clean and updated.

Towels were very dirty looking we had to go buy new ones to feel comfortable to even shower and floors were very dirty with sand and bottles of shampoo and conditioner way too small but the room was very updated and big with a comfortable bed and room was nice looking. Customer service was AMAZING the lady gave us her personal hair dryer because the loaner one was broken.

It’s nice and clean place for the price that you paid. Location and Parking space are great.

Simple and clean

Cheap motel in a decent location. Right on the lake. Easy parking. But...my room smelled like a room at a seedy Reno casino. The Internet was unusably slow. The TV had some sort of interference pattern on every channel. There were stains on some of the towels. It was the cheapest option, and it served its purpose. And that's all I've got to say 'bout that.

It was good for the price.
