Oasis at Palm Cove

Pool was ok. The location was beautiful. The unit itself was great very spacious. Well presented. Clean.

The fans were noisy in unit 14 in both bedrooms. The induction cooktop was not intuitive and we had to look up instruction and even then had problems. Not good when we had friends coming over for dinner and had to ask them if they knew how induction cooktops worked (and they didn't). Got it in the end but annoying as all hell. We used your marina restaurant recommendations and found them both ordinary maybe 5/10. Your fresh seafood place was a tourist trap. There was a way better fresh seafood place on the corner of Sheridan and Arthur St in Cairns - way way better. The unit's security screen onto the patio was problematic and we had no idea how to lock and secure it. Need better instructions re airconditioner about turning it off and on - the need to place key in slot to the right of the front door to turn the thing back on. Again not intuitive. The instructions should be adjacent to the controller in the living area - when we came back to the unit to turn the air condioner back on we hadn't realised the key needed to be in the slot to the right of the front door. We collected our key at 2pm, went shopping and came back to turn on the air conditioner and the hotplate. It wasn't until I was sitting with a cuppa next day we read through your written information. I has turned off air conditioner as requested next to your front door but there was nothing about putting the car back into the slot so luckily we had the fans over our dining table and in bed rooms as there was no air conditioners du to nothing about putting key back into the slot before putting the air condioners back on..

It was an oasis. The location, gardens, and pool made this stay. Next door to small supermarket and cafe - great coffee!! The choose this accommodation for the communal BBQ facilities at the pool. We could have dinner with our friends every night. It was perfect!!

It’s not serviced, we had to wash our own towels and sheets, vacuum ect. But perhaps it’s just set up that way… if so then that’s fine. It’s was a beautiful place

The property was a block in from the beach and surrounded by beautiful well kept gardens. The apartment was very large with lots of extras to help make the stay even better. Having a washer and a dryer meant no full suitcase of clothes to wash when returning home. Great location and an easy drive to the airport, cairns and around 40 minutes to Port Douglas. Kuranda Skyrail is a 15 minute drive. Directed opposite is a Tavern that is open for lunch and dinner as well as a small supermarket just down the road. The Cole’s supermarket is about a 4 minute drive away. Palm cove has a safe swimming space at the beach.

That we couldn’t stay longer as they were fully booked out!

The apartment facilities are wonderful. Large comfortable living, meals & kitchen plus a fabulous balcony.

The place needs a very good clean and excess clutter in kitchen, would be beneficial to clean out.

We stayed in the superior apartment and absolutely loved how comfortable and well-equipped it was. The kitchen had an excellent range of cooking utensils, plates, glasses, mugs, pots and pans, which made it easy to cook and feel at home for the week. All facilities worked perfectly, including the washer and dryer, and the apartment was very clean. The beds were comfortable and extra doonas were provided (though we didn’t need them). The large fridge was great for storing food for a full week. The living room couch was incredibly spacious, comfortable, and even reclined, honestly comfortable enough to sleep on. The location was fantastic, just a short walk to Palm Cove beachfront with restaurants, plus a convenience store nearby that stays open until 9pm. We also appreciated the DVD player with kids movies and the extra board and card games, which made it a very family-friendly stay. Overall, the apartment was spacious, practical, and extremely comfortable for a three-bedroom 2 bath setup.

There isn’t an elevator, which made carrying luggage upstairs a little challenging, although this was on us as we should have read the listing more carefully rather than assuming. The living room TV is not a smart TV and only has standard channels and a DVD player, while the primary bedroom does have a smart TV. These were very minor points and didn’t impact our enjoyment of the stay.
