The hotel is aligned with a monorail (that starts at the airport) stop. The location is near the main shopping street, The breakfast brunch was good and popular. Sunday brunch had local customers (2 hr wait). As a hotel guest, I was able to make a reservation and the hotel staff called me when the table was available (within 15 minutes). There are no restaurant offering other than breakfast but there are many offerings near the hotel.

The hotel room needs to add & upgrade its electrical plugs. The bed had a soft spot where most people sit on the bed. The door to the bathroom opens into the entry way and the light switch is on the far side of the door: a pocket sliding door would be an improvement. The built-in desk cabinetry is dated.

Very nice hotel. Room was comfortable. The shower and tub was wonderful. Breakfast was amazing. Absolutly amazing. I want to stay here again just to eat breakfast here...

Very near the train station and the main road.

Since I saw on the map that this hotel is close to the airport, I was afraid it would be noisy but we never heard any planes. The hotel has great breakfast, both Japanese and western. It is well worth the additional price. They only serve breakfast but there are a number of restaurants close by. The hotel is extremely easy to get to from the airport. Just follow the signs for the monorail. The monorail has instructions in English and the stop for the hotel is Asahibashi (stop 6). Its impossible to get on the wrong train since the airport is the end of the line (stop 1). It only takes 10 min to get to Asahibashi and the Doubletree is 100 meters from the stop. It is a little tricky to go out the correct exit, just use google maps on your phone. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the beach (Naminoue beach) and also a 10 min walk from the main shopping street (Kokusai Dori). Everything else is very easy to get to by walking, monorail, or a combination of both.

This hotel is conveniently located minutes away from the monorail and bus stations. It is a short walk to Kokusai Dori where there is abundant shopping and eating establishments. Our room was small but clean, and housekeeping service was excellent. I would recommend this hotel.

Very good location right beside the monorail. Breakfast is very generous and they let diamond members reserve tables the day before. Staff helped out with queries on where to eat and other local recommendations. Also they helped me find a Catholic church and Sunday mass schedule. Thank you to Yoshimi, Dahal, Ayumi, Hitomi and Ebak.
