Canh Dieu Hotel

This is a nice, family run hotel with friendly and straight-forwards staff. Breakfast is nice. We rented a scooter from the hotel, and they were very helpful with ideas for what to do. The advert is misleading - the mattress is far from memory foam, there was no mini-bar, the tv was not HD, etc. The hotel was still worth the money, but I think the listing should be changed to make it accurate.

Personnel gentil, petits déjeuners excellents, chauffage dans la chambre s'il fait froid (rare au Viêtnam). Près de la gare et de la station de bus. Le train passe derrière l'hôtel mais n'est pas dérangeant de nuit. Ascenseur. De bons restaurants à quelques pas et de belles activités à faire à environ 20-25 km.

I cannot recommend! Even though the staff was friendly and tried to be helpful, my room was not clean. Additionally, the neighbourhood is not appealing. I cannot recommend the hotel!

Well, we never actually stayed here. I chose this hotel because it specifically advertises a 24 hr front desk and close proximity to the bus stop. I would have contacted them beforehand to let them know our bus was dropping us off at 5am, but no email is provided for this hotel. After searching for this hotel in the dark for nearly an hour, we arrived to a very locked front door. We rang the doorbell for 30 minutes before we had to leave an find a different hotel. So if you are arriving late night/early morning like we did, do NOT BOOK here.

Leider nicht zu empfehen. Wir hatten 2 Zimmer. Beide mit Schimmel an der Decke im Zimmer und am Ventilator im Bad. Klima defekt (wohl auch besser, denn wäre bestimmet auch Schimmel zu erwarten). Fenster nach außen nicht zu öffnen und sonst zum Flur. Dusche kleckerte vor sich hin.

Pros: good breakfast in the morning; very helpful at front desk; 2 free bottles of water upon departure Cons: We found mouse scat on the nightstand table and behind the bed a few hours after our arrival to our room. The front desk quickly changed our room and it appeared to be an upgraded room with more space and light. But, overall we did not feel comfortable in the hotel. We proceeded to find mouse scat near the stairwells; there was layers of dust in the rooms; the bathroom in both rooms did not feel clean. The hotel feels very old and like the owners do not care to maintain it. We could not wait to leave. The neighborhood is not ideal...the only options for food nearby are local street food places where no one speaks English and they all seem to close early - so bring your google translate!

Super aardig personeel en ze hebben ons erg geholpen met bijvoorbeeld een goedkope gids te regelen. Hele leuke behulpzame jonge eigenaar.

옛날 기차역 뒷편에 위치. 위치는 좋으나 기차역 뒤쪽이라 앞쪽보다는 조금 불편할 수 있겠네요. 시설은 좋지는 않습니다. 오래되고 따뜻한 물은 잘 나오지만 화장실 자체는 좁고 불편한 점이 있네요. 근데 가격 대비 생각해보면 괜찮습니다. 다음날 체크아웃하고 닌빈짱안 다녀와서 밤기차 타야되는데 덥고 땀 엄청나서 얼마정도 내고서라도 샤워할 수있는지 물어봤는데 그냥 무료로 빈방에서 샤워할 수 있게 해줬습니다. 직원들도 친절했구요. 조식은 메뉴중에 고르는건데 베이컨과 계란선택했는데 양이 넘 작아서 별로였지만 음료로 커피주문하면 바로 내린 쓰어다 마실수 있어서 좋았습니다. 저렴하게 하루묵기에 괜찮은 호텔입니다.
