We enjoyed the village set up as a family and the serene environment .

The black sand and high tides all the time stopped us from enjoying the beach

Some facilities are outdated and the shower drain was blocked other then that it was fine for our family , villa was cleaned daily inside and outside

The villa is spacious, has a fantastic pool, and is set right on Black Sand Beach, a truly stunning location. Villa 6 even has two pools, which was perfect for the kids. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we really enjoyed the daily breakfast in the kitchen. The chief we arrange was the best part of the trip who did a fantastic meal that 2adults and 2children all enjoyed.

On the downside, the property is a little dated, with some mold on the walls and limescale and mildew in the bathrooms. Privacy could also be better, as staff were often around during the day for gardening, paperwork or cleaning. We also had a small issue when an adapter was accidentally packed, the replacement cost quoted was much higher than the actual price to replace. Eftpos machine all the staff struggled to work I needed to show them how to use. Staff was always ringing “boss” who was very unhelpful as uncontactable. The beach is beautiful to look at, though not really suitable for swimming as the waves are strong and better suited for very experienced surfers.

The location was great for the surf. The beds were comfy.

As nice as the staff were, having someone come and cook breakfast in your kitchen felt a little bit invasive. Prefer a buffet breakfast.

Schimmel an Wänden, an Fugen und Armaturen. Viele große Küchenscharben unter der gammeligen Küchenzeile. Als wir um Abhilfe gebeten hatten war auch gleich ein Mitarbeiter zur Stelle mit Spray und Besen. Er wusste gleich, wo er sprühen muss. Das Problem war dort bekannt und wird nicht beseitigt sondern nur begrenzt...

Pool was great! Close to surf

The villas were large with lovely rooms, facilities & outlook. The customer service was beyond expectation—especially the care given to one member of the family who was unwell.

Unfortunately the recent floods had affected our villa but the staff worked tirelessly to repair the problems & we were comfortable the whole time.
