Arinza Hotel, London Ilford

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We asked to park our car in the car park before check in as we were seeing family and it was no problem at all.

Unfortunately the room was not clean. The bathroom had hair in the shower, the sink looked like there were toothpaste smears. The light fitting was hanging on by the wire which is so dangerous. The TV did not work and there were stains on the walls.

Location

Very hot in the room, air con only blowing hot. No way of cooling down in the middle of winter apart from going outside repeatedly.

Ok for the money

The staff are exceptional and extremely helpful Location is ideal and close to everything required for a traveller or worker 24/7 Reception

The hotel itself is budget so expect the basics and below par cleanliness and facilities, however the staff are awesome and always ready to help. However, the actual management company, OYO, are an absolute nightmare, Unproffesional, do not liaise with customer or booking.com with ease. They recently cancelled 3 of my booking for the month and wont follow usual process of cancelling via booking.com which has led to me being on calls on and off for a total of 7 hours just to get refunds and alternative accomodation etc. Prior to these issues, the management company OYO were extremely hard to get hold of and have several different numbers provided which sometimes work and do not work. It's sadly the management company which lets this hotel down.

Lo staff è veramente gentilissimo e ha compensato al resto. La linea Elisabeth della metro che porta dritto in centro è un bel vantaggio. La zona è residenziale molto tranquilla e principalmente abitata da indiani. La via principale ha molti ristoranti, bar e supermercati.

Le finestre non si potevano aprire. La stanza era spesso piena di mosconi morti per terra. Danno un solo asciugamano a testa. La pulizia in generale non è troppo ottimale e l'arredamento è un po' fatiscente e rotto.

Staff were friendly

People outside window all night talking and smoking. Could hear the people upstairs. They were very loud. Shower was cold. And water leaked out of shower onto floor. Nearly slipped. No lock on bathroom door.
