The couple who manage the property were truly wonderful; they even graciously allowed me to store my motorcycle in their garage. Furthermore, the food was excellent!

The property was easy to find and parking was no problem. The owner was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good and food available in the evenings likewise. The village of Acomb is quiet and friendly and has bus services throughout the day which you might want to use to visit the fleshpots of Hexham ! There are plenty of activities in the surrounding area and the countryside is really good.

Breakfast was very good. Food was plentiful and well served. Staff member was extremely helpful and pleasant. Environment was very friendly and pleasant.

Access to bedroom was a little difficult for someone like myself who has mobility problems, the stairs being rather steep. But obviously, nothing can be done about that. No complaints, very satisfied.

Clean, nice ambience, great location, lots of character. Our deluxe room was massive with ample cupboard space (!) and three opening windows. Good breakfast, and most importantly really friendly and helpful staff.
