Facilities were excellent. Location to Oxford were ideal, close but too close. It was a nice and quiet location. NIce walking in around the guest house.

NO phone service for my mobile. Not enough choices on the menu, evenings. Nothing else to complain about.

"Excellent.Managed to see all that York and environs had to offer ."

As the hotel was quiet,the proprietor offered me a better(double)room instead of the single at no extra price. I was given very helpful information about local shops,pubs,buses walks and sightseeing tips.

There was nothing to complain about really.Perhaps the heating could have been turned down a notch.

It is a nice big house, the rooms are really comfortable and clean, they have free parking outside and the staff is kind. You can get to the city center in a few minutes by bus or uber. This accommodation is an excellent choice.

Just out of the city centre, only a 20 minute walk along the river was perfect or a 7 minute bus ride (the bus stop was right outside👍🏼)!

Nothing not to like - value for money, clean & the bed was comfy! I generally don’t go away to spend time in my room, so a clean environment & plenty of tea so I can have a hot drink is all I need!
