Kincaid House Hotel

The service was excellent and the hed and linen was good quality. The bathroom shower was nice and i enjoyed a cup.of coffee in my room after work and checking in.

Nice big room. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere so it was very peaceful and quiet. At the same time, it's only a 10 minute train ride into central Glasgow. (The station is a 5 min. drive from the hotel) Staff were really friendly and accommodating and the conservatory restaurant was just lovely for dinner or a glass of wine at the end of the day.

Our room had a new shower and sink etc but felt a little spartan. no pictures. The garden looked as if it could have done with some attention and the driveway was not tended. Nettles either side. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. A tad expensive for what it was.

Lovely location in a small village close to Glasgow! Wonderful staff and amazing breakfast! Would highly recommend as a base to explore Scotland!

What can I say about this fabulous hotel… after arriving quite late at the hotel I was greeted by great hospitality from the staff who had waited up for me, my room had recently been refurbished so was like it was brand new. The breakfast was simply excellent and my evening meal was just fabulous, there are absolutely no faults, I will definitely be returning. I also highly recommend the Loch Lomond beer.

A great base for a cycling trip on the John Muir Way and Forth & Clyde canal (both pass very close to the hotel). Friendly and helpful staff. Generous sized room at the front (sunny aspect) and great en-suite - appeared to be recently refurbished with large walk-in shower with drench head. Good traditional dinner in the conservatory dining room. Plenty of parking and quiet location well off the main road (though the long drive could do with resurfacing at least for cyclists!). Would definitely visit again.

Pleasant stay

Lovely approach, pleasant staff, spacious room, good quality furniture, showers, etc. that give the room a nice feel. Nice and quiet as well, no creaky floors/stairs. Excellent brekky, nice bar, some nearby walks.
