"Never going back! "

2.0

At arrival, got given a budget room. This is not stated when we buy online. Room was hideous so we got upgraded. This is not hotel standards. Communication skills are bad! With the upgrade we got free breakfast, there were different menus, we weren't told and was given a menu we had to pay for. Useless! Will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Ended up costing us 700 tala for 3 nights when we paid 180nzd for 3nights. Not a happy customer!

"Happy staying at Elis Hotel"

10.0

Hi, I enjoyed staying at Elisa Hotel. The staffs are friendly and i feel at home. Even i was not checked in on time which should be 6:am, since i arrive in samoa at 5am flight. They had to check me in at 12 midday. With me being so tired from the long trip, i was not given a chance to have my room asap early that mornng, but they kept on telling me you will have to check in at 12midday. This was the only thing that ma dme a bit upset. If that can be improved would be graetful. Overall i am happy staying at Elisa Hotel. I will have to look forward to stay there again in the near future.

It was'nt too bad. Location was the best thing about this hotel. Cleanliness also not too bad. We stayed in a budget room and it was bearable. We plan to stay there again if we have another trip to Samoa. Customer service could have been better though. Staff need to learn how to greet their guests and smile.

"Disappointed in staff"

6.0

As soon as we entered the room, we read all the rules and conditions. The bathroom clearly stated that the towels would be changed daily and said nothing about the fact that this excluded Sundays. We arrived on Friday night, used the towels provided and asked if we could get these changed the next morning. The front desk assured us this would happen later on in the day around 10am. 12pm when we returned to the room the towels still hadn't been changed so we asked again. Again the front desk assured us this would be done. We went out again and returned at night and the towels still had not been replaced despite being told twice that they would. I ask the night receptionist and he tells me that maybe they will be replaced in the morning (being Sunday morning) I ask if there is any chance we could get them tonight as we are not able to take showers until we get fresh towels. then and only then does the clerk fetches fresh towels. Our room also did not get made despite the being noted in the hotel room folder that rooms would be made daily. This is very disappointing as this room cost a lot of money and you expect to get what you pay for. The next day (Sunday) we did not get fresh towels again and got sick of asking so just reused the ones we got the night before. The next day (Monday) we asked at reception why our room was not made and why did we not get fresh towels. The receptionist tells us that none of their cleaning staff work on Sunday and towels would not get replaced...

"bad place"

2.0

I really didn't like the service and the food. Bed was uncomfortable and it isn't cheap as they say. Paying by card they charge fees and at the bar they don't have nothing fresh and just the essential. The staff is unprepared and when I changed my room inside the hotel nobody explained to me policy and terms.. I just discovered that I had to pay penalty the day after I moved in an other room.

" Smelly Pillows and torn sheets!"

2.0

Hotel is located right in town and it comes with a lovely pool why I picked it. I had injured my knee and doctor recommended to swim daily. I arrived late (after 13 hrs of flying) in that hot humid afternoon and found out my room is on 2nd level with no elevator. I literally cried! I made it up the steps after almost an hour of trying! And my room was what I had expected for what it was worth. I had a shower then a needed nap. But I kept waking up for the room had this strong weird odor. The strong smell of human body odor came from my pillows! The whole room was overwhelmed with this amazing incredible body odor of pillows! Finally I left pillows outside the door and used my towel as one. The next day I complained about the pillows and was awarded with pillows not as smelly! The sheets were torn and old but clean. After few days there my knee was healing nicely from the half an hour swimming in the am and in the pm. It's refreshing! All they had to do is to leave these pillows out in the hot Samoan sun all day and they would be as refreshed as my knee!

"Good very cheap backpackers room"

4.0

OK for a very cheap backpackers room. Close to the city work area where I needed to be. Two lots of rooms, mine was obviously the cheaper end of the backpackers spectrum. Others commented that higher class rooms were overpriced but you get what you pay for with the lower quality backpackers area
