Ambassador Inn

We loved the area… very easy to get around for what we were needing. My biggest problem was cleanliness of this place. Yes we expected OLD we didn’t expect to be in a 5 star hotel.. But there was old vomit on the bed skirt of one of the beds and night stand. That is really disgusting. Shortages of towels and washcloths was another issue although the staff was friendly-ish it would have been nice to know ahead of time and we would have brought our own. Also there was an extra charge for the use of gym and pool of which we never saw or even wanted to have used even if we did see it just didn’t like that charge without even asking if we planned to use them

Staying at the Ambassador in OCMD was a complete disaster, with problems in every aspect of the room. Bugs: The room was infested with insects. Drain flies were constantly coming out of the pipes and flying around. There were dead bugs smeared on the walls and stuck in the ceiling lights, adding to the overall filth and neglect of the room. Cleanliness: The entire space was filthy. Dust and dirt covered every surface, and it was clear that nothing had been cleaned properly. The couch was stained, grimy, and smelled awful. To make matters worse, there were mysterious smears on the walls that I didn’t even want to think about. Smell: The odor in the room was overwhelming. The couch had its own foul smell, but the entire room reeked of weed, making it impossible to escape the stench. Safety Concerns: There were major safety hazards, too. A floor lamp had a light bulb barely hanging out, which seemed like a fire hazard waiting to happen. On top of that, the floorboard leading into the bedroom was rotting, and I felt like it could give way at any moment. Health Issues: The worst part was the physical reaction I had after staying there. I woke up with my eyes swollen shut and my entire body itchy. Even my ears were red and swollen. I’m not sure what was in the bed or room, but it clearly caused a severe allergic reaction. For the price I paid, I expected at least basic cleanliness and comfort. I was met with a room that was not only disgusting but also a health hazard.

The room had no light bulbs in the lamps. The switch for one lamp was broken off. The gfci receptacle by sink did not work and could not be fixed. They had to give us a different room

The staff was not friendly except the girl at checkin. The shower sprayed everywhere getting the floor wet. The shower curtain was made for a round tub shower and had slits it, spraying water everywhere. Asked the front desk for a hand towel and bath rug, said simeone will bring it up and he wrote it down. Never got them bit they did take the bath rug we had drying outside.

No blow dryer in the room. Went to lobby to ask for it twice but still didn’t send it to the room. By the end, I slept with wet hair and woke up with not fully dry hair. No coffee cups in the room, had to ask from the front desk. Very noisy air conditioner. Luckily I had a Benadryl to help the sleep.

Went for the week with my family. 1 year old my husband and mom and dad. We had a great time. You get what you pay for. It’s ocean city and that’s what you get for ocean city for the price.

Extremely disgusting place, bathroom had mold. On the third floor there was no water even to wash your hands.. The staff said it was not their problem. The bed was damaged, you could not sleep in it. This property DOES NOT HAVE A POOL EVEN THOUGH THE PHOTOS SAY SO. The room smells like marijuana, total filth in every sense of the word.....

Need to b clean more, but staff is ftiendly
