Ambassador Inn

Service was wonderful! We had to ask for a few items and they not only had them, they were quick on getting them to us. The room is older, but the beds were comfortable if you like firm mattresses (my husband was happy). According to the kids, the pull out mattress was a bit blah, but it is a pull out mattress. My biggest issue was the bathroom. There were no places to put toothbrushes and the like or hang towels (other than the shower curtain pole). The sink looked like it was going to all off at any moment (the soap had to be put between the faucet and wall or it would just fall into the sink). Other than that, though, the room was great for our stay.

This was the worst motel/hotel I’ve ever stayed in. They never communicated when the room was ready. When I finally got to the room it was very dirty. The bathroom was never cleaned. There was hair stuck to the shower wall. They only gave us 2 towels for 4 people and there was no hair dryer. I walked back down to the front desk (Which was 3 floors down and they have no elevator). I explained the issues and she assured me they would fix the issues. We went out for the rest of evening and when we came back the gave us the towels and the hair dryer but never cleaned the bathroom. I even found trash under the bed. I would never return or recommend this place to anyone.

There was a slug on the bathroom mirror. The room smelt like a drying up swamp. The swimming pools are located at that property - you have to go to another building. The only positive about this place is that they moved me to another location - an entire different hotel. DO NOT stay here. GROSS!!!

We were provided a toaster in our apartment that didn’t work. The apartment we stayed in could definitely use some cosmetic touch up’s and the mold on the ceiling in the front bedroom and wall in the bathroom should be repaired as well. Other than that, the stay wasn’t bad at all. Affordable, close to the beach and boardwalk, clean for the most part and quiet.

Maintain guy came inside and nobody even let us know that someone was coming into the room.

It was the worst day that I’ve ever been trip I’ve ever had. They said they even had a pool and they didn’t.

You get what you pay for. Just for any one's sake, there is no elevator at the Ambassador Inn so ask for 1st floor if you can't do stairs. But for my sake I'm not really complaining. I paid $87 a night and comfortable bed and shower.

We get to the room and there is a unlit cigarette behind the bed and a blood-stained rag in the bed! The bed was too soft at one end and hard on the other. It is like the bed had to be flipped but we did not flip it. The bathroom is severely tiny and the sink is in the room and not in the bathroom. There is only 1 electrical outlet in the room and no hair dryer. The hotel has 2 pools but they are diagonally across the street and you need to go into the hotel where the pool is to let them know you are staying at the Ambassador Inn in order to use the pools. The pools are small. There are no elevators! The only good thing about this place is the staff is friendly and helpful.
