Hotel Sogo Malate

Ok the room had wall mirrors near Bed ? haha Love hotel haha, But It was a good stay , as it is 16-20 Minutes from MNL airport , Very Close to US Embassy and St. Luke's Medical and The CFO Government building for getting your CFO sticker , a loot of places within walking distance , at night be eyes wide open ,Food is Good , service staff Good , Grumpy front desk haha if you order Room service they chase you to pay now ? haha I would recommend staying here and I would go Back ,

Great as it is Close to US Embassy , St Luke's Medical center , CFO Government building , 16-20 minutes to MNL airport , Also has a lot of other places to go within walking distance ,like Manila zoo 5 minutes , Food Excellent , Clean , and service staff Nice , Front Desk Crabby !! hahaha .. walking at night ?? Hmmm ? Eyes wide Open . I would go Back .. and using Hotels.com was the better way to Book . Thank You Have used them many times

Upon arrival my already booked with Expedia the room there they look at me like I'm from outer space don't even recognize what expedia is even after I show them the confirmation I'm told to wait and then another person comes with the same dazed look it's about an hour before I finally get into the room which is disgusting smells musky and full of smoke it's late so I end up staying anyway check out right away the next morning look at my photos there's the safe broken too we have more chances on getting those things back then getting anything to compensate my terrible stay and you will see how they will reply it will be some generic we're sorry we'll work on it take note when these hotels give those kind of replies it means absolutely they will do nothing and our of no credibility if they were they would reply with we want to compensate and will but you will never see that they have no credibility only good thing the young lady who checked me out was very quick and pleasant but that's the only thing

Just checked in to one of their premium room with my husband last Sept 18. I booked for another day and asked for new towels and linens. I asked for it not just once but thrice. Trust me, they will just say OK but nothing happens. It was really dissapointing. I think this hotel is just for short time. Regret it. Never coming back. I checked out and booked another descent hotel.

This particular hotel is not an ideal hotel for families due to the amount of prostituion in the area. This reflects in the overall service of the hotel. It makes the room service very slow and the noise level is beyond where it should be. If you like microwave food then this hotel is for you. The guys who greet you are very friendly but always looking for a tip. Overall, very dissappointed.

Went for a very late checked in around 2am so Sogo would be a good deal for me but Room is too tight. Internet connection is not good. You can literally hear the other guest from other rooms moaning. The carpet smells like a stinky feet. On the positive note staff are very courteous and helpful especially the managers and housekeepers. keep it up! Breakfast is also worth the money. Thanks for accomodating my mom and I.

Friendly staff and convenient to airport . It's just warm around the hallway. But it's great experience. It's me and my husband 1st time to stay. My husband is very empress to hotel. Clean and neat. Friendly stuff. He said he will recommend this hotel to anyone. Its only 1 night but its great experience.Thanks

The Mrs and I stayed here as we had an early flight the day after. Usually the Mrs does the booking as I can't be trusted and end up booking the first place I come across. However, I hit the jackpot with this one. I didn't realise it was a so called 'love hotel' so we were surprised with the mood lighting, light up shower head and mirrored ceiling when we got into the room. Anyway we had a great night watching the free film channels and it was a good job the bed had a plastic cover on it. We now look for similar hotels around the world but it seems Manila is the only home of SoGo :(

I stayed at this hotel during a lay over in Manila. The room they gave me was full of roaches. I could not even get comfortable because I was up killing a roach every minute. The only reason I am not giving it a terrible is because when I complained they did move me to another room which was better. But they need to get a good exterminator to take care of the problem.

Terrible!!! The hotel is false advertising... free international call. We stayed for 16 nights and the international call was never available. The internet connection was crappy. It was dropping off every 10 - 15 minutes. Employees cannot remember our food order so many times. Employees kept disturbing and reminding us about checking out early in our stay. The building has old smell. The hotel is beside an establishment where a full bench of ladies are sitting in front of the building in the evening.
