Hotel Sogo Malate

My friends told me it is a place people go to have quickies. Not so sanitary.

Have in this Hotel more than once and it's very comfortable with friendly staff, across the street from a convenience store. Easy to catch local transportation.

Every hotel's staff tell u a different story... My first day I check in they gave me a room which was not been clean from previous booking. They swap my room then shower head was broken & maintenance guy came to fix then no hot water & no water pressure,Have to wait after 2 days to swap room again. I feel there were no hygiene at all , they don't come to clean bedroom , bathroom. Lucky my partner bought new towels for us. I been using this room for 5 days & not a single day they emptied the bin & change bed sheets. And their core values stand : So good So clean... We are not difficult people but we like they care a bit for us as what we paid for.

Nice for a short stay ,friendly staff. Clean rooms. I had 2 rooms and both okay

was ok but room smelled of smoke..asked for different room .but said was full..guys came in put some spray in air.but was still smelly..

The hotel was good and clean. I felt unconvinience when I requested towel to room boy but he asked me some money about 40 pesos. I thought all hotel give towell free of charge.

A descent hotel with clean and comfortable bedding. Good mood lightning for evening fun. Wifi wasnt that good. It kept requiring us to sign in which easily gets annoying after the 5th time. The staff doesnt seem to care that much about the customers. We booked a non-smoking room but still got a room that smelled like smoke. And the safe was closed and the staff waa unable to open it. We had to wait 1hour for the checkin because they were waiting for someone to check out and clean the room even though we already had a booked room.

Loved my stay here, other Sogo hotels have been a much less happy experience. The room was spotless, the staff very friendly and helpful.

After asking if an early check in was possible at 5am, we checked in our room, but we have been kicked out at 5am the day after. Nobody told us that it was only for 24hours. We tried to find an arrangement, but every hour more we would have spent would have been charged... What kind of hotel kicked out their clients at 5am ?? Plus, we chose this hotel because it had a airport shuttle, but unfortunately, they wanted to make us pay 12€ more for it, which is 4 times the price of a cab. Even the supervisor couldn't say anything but : "sorry". And nothing changed ! Never go to this hotel, they don t know the meaning of the word "service".

We arrived on Manila around 7am and we were just looking for a place to sleep before checking in to the first hotel we choose.THe sogohotel over charge us.The guy asked if we have a luggages and I said yes and so he recommend the suites.But he give us a tein roon which is 2 twin separate bed for 2thousand pesos for 12hours.Because we do not want to wonder around and we were so tired I paid for 12hours.I could have just choose a different one but I am so tired already and just want to close my eyes.If you guys want a budget hotel please do search for others and not stay to this worst sogohotel.The elevators and hallways has no AC and so it is very very very hot.Stay away to this hotel.The sheets are so dirty and yellow stained.They might not changed the sheets when we check in.I was so itch to my skin when I cover myself.Oh well lesson learned! I will never stay to this hotel again!!!!Plus there so many beggars selling Viagra,iphones,old coins etc.the kids come to you and asked money even the poor adults
