The hotel is in an old castle, at the edge of the walled city and very charming. The rooms were nice with a good view of the valley. Because it is in an old castle it has many interesting spaces, includind a tower you can climb to see a 360 view of the town and surroundings

The staff was a little curt. But never enough to bother us.

Hotel was beautiful. Staff and facilities were ok. One girl very helpful.

Breakfast was ok, no hot water for tea and food left uncovered. No terrace as per photos. Didn't live up to expectations or price.

Nothing really .Especially the relationship between quality and value !

You are obliged to park well away form the hotel and lug cases up many flights of steps . There is no help offered . And the hotel has no lift. The welcome was appalling , just two young surly women who basically told us nothing . The rooms are pretentious and uncomfortable and a bit grubby in parts . The air conditioning was either too feirce or not at all . Worst of all was breakfast which was truly the worst we have ever had in a hotel . Coffee undrinkable , margarine not butter and fruit and yogurt which we noticed had been lying out on the table since the day before . Really poor ! The hotel is seriously over priced . Other reviewers have waxed lyrical about the owner and his charm . We saw no evidence of charm of any description . A truly unpleasant experience.

Loved the building and its history. Our room had a huge spa bath. Continental Breakfast was a nice good choice.

The room had no water, which I thought was quite strange! had to find a local shop to buy water for the room, after a treck up to the hotel as there was no parking near the hotel.

Beautiful little hotel in the small town of Laguardia in the wine region. Quiet in May. Near wineries and fun to explore adjacent old town area.

The restaurant in the hotel was closed on Sunday and Monday. Limited choices for finding breakfast and dinner. Did find one good restaurant nearby.

Get to stay in a real castle - how could we resist!

The room was good and clean but the breakfast was very poor with old Bread from the day before and the receptionist was very, very rude to us. We got our money back for this breakfast but this lady of the desk stayed rude to us. And the day after we decided to left this hotel (we had still one day to go in this hotel) and again we had to do with this very rude lady. Laguardia is a very beautiful Place but this hotel is a No go for us.
