"If you appreciate B&B pampering, this is the place"

10.0

Very old historic property. Amazing service. Exceptionally comfortable bed and very well appointed bath. Lovely surroundings in a small New England town close to highways and easy to get to. We used this as out base camp for visiting family and friends north and south of Boston and enjoyed the property and the area. We'd stay there again!

"Proctor Mansion is Awesome Place to Stay"

10.0

The B&B was built around 1862 and has been restored beautifully. The ambience is great and the rooms are comfortable and beautiful. There is an electric tea kettle, tea and china tea cups in every room, so this is extra special if you love tea. The breakfast room also has a cupbard filled with more tea pots and cups. This B&B is a real gem.

"Great historical property"

10.0

We had a wonderful time at the Proctor Mansion Inn. The Inn Keepers were super friendly and gave us sooo much information on the history of the property. Our trip was quick (we flew in for a NE Patriots game - and back out the next day) - wish we had more time to really check out the Inn. The room was great and the bed was really comfortable! We will stay there again the next time we visit the area!!

"Classic Victorian Inn"

10.0

The Proctor House is a historic 2nd Empire Victorian mansion that has been lovingly and painstakingly restored. The rooms are large and excellently decorated in period pieces. The bathrooms are updated and clean. The common areas transport one to the Victorian age. Breakfast is provided and excellent. The staff is friendly, efficient and extremely helpful. This is a wonderful oasis in this day and age of frenetic, high volume, high energy public places and hotels. We would recommend it highly!

"Charming, Comfortable and Friendly"

10.0

We spent one night at the Proctor Mansion Inn when attending a concert at nearby Gillette stadium. The property is very charming, with most of the original detail preserved. We stayed in the "yellow" room pictured here which was large, with a real king size bed, and beautiful details. Each room has its own window AC. Only thing is that I wish they had blackout curtains but they only had shutters on the windows, at least in our room. The staff was very friendly. We did not have breakfast but it is included - things like coffee, juices etc.. are always available. Parking is plentiful.

"Good"

4.0

As an adult the age of 35, I'm highly aware of the check in and check out time. The place was very clean and nice, but we were in town for a show. We asked if they had a taxi service they used, we were rudely told to use uber. Then were awaken at 10:10 am just to let us know check out was at 11. We specifically said we wanted to sleep in when we arrived. If you're not over 60 and don't drive a Mercedes I don't recommend staying here. Snobs

"That'll do"

8.0

Staff was very hospitable and met our needs wonderfully. The mansion and it's history are awesome to learn about. It's in the restoration process so be aware that things aren't perfect but ultimately we liked it. Was a bit weird that we don't think the rooms have locks, but maybe that's the norm?

"Lovely alternative to a chain hotel"

10.0

We had a wedding in the area and chose to stay at a B and B rather than at a chain hotel. The proctor mansion was lovely, spotlessly clean, historic and attentive to us as visitors. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our room, the historic touches of the inn, and the attention from the staff. We felt coddled.
