Totally Dog friendly experience with area for breakfast in the original kitchen which was fabulous… friendly staff and lovely walks in walled garden and pets graveyard…

Beautiful location, away from all the noise and light pollution, we really enjoyed our stay. Lovely room with spacious bathroom. Breakfast was good.

Quiet location, comfortable bed, good sized room.

Staff did not seem that well organised, some prolonged waits. Food OK . Sitting room area needed a good deep clean. Inside of windows had several spiders and cobwebs. The room was very warm, even with no heating, must have been somthing above or below the room that heated it. The approach to the house was quite pretty down a long drive but had very few passing places over several hundred yards which caused some concern.

"Surprising Majestic, a gem down a one lane road with a historical history for those who like history"

Everything went well. Breakfast in the original kitchen/dining room was outstanding from view, food and staff. Dinner was excellent….the chef could go anywhere he or she wanted! Room was very large, bathroom same and loved the view and quiet. Staff was adorable, helpful, interesting about history and just nice smiles.

We should have booked at least two nights or next time we stay 4 nights.
