Waldorf Astoria Panama

I’m really disappointed with the Waldorf Astoria experience. With the promise of a very luxurious brand, we expected a beautiful, well-maintained property—but instead we were put in a space that felt very old, smelled unpleasant, and was extremely outdated. In many places, we could see and smell mold. There was also wallpaper peeling, and in the pool area we noticed missing and damaged tiles. The breakfast was a real disappointment and simply not worth the money—and for the first time we were served watered-down juices in a restaurant. It’s hard to understand how the operator can represent it as “Waldorf Astoria” when the condition clearly doesn’t match the brand’s reputation. While the staff was polite and nice, I don’t think that’s enough for a hotel that claims luxury. In my opinion, licensing should be reviewed—or taken away from the operator—so customers aren’t misled into believing they’re staying at a beautiful property associated with the Waldorf Astoria brand.

This was my husband and I first trip to Panama and I highly recommend staying at the Waldorf Astoria. The hotel is located in the financial district within walking distance to restaurants and site seeing. The rooms are beautiful with views of Panamas skyline. The staff is nice, friendly, and very accommodating. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet, it offers a variety of all three meals. Please request to have Host William Smith to take care of you. He’s the best and made our stay that much more enjoyable. We will definitely be staying at the Waldorf Astoria when we return next year our new home away from home.

My wife and I are staying at the Waldorf Astoria Panama, and we had such a great experience with one of the staff members that I wanted to make sure it was recognized. On the way to the hotel, my wife accidentally cut her toe in the Uber. Once we arrived, a staff member nicknamed Flash stepped in right away to help. He brought out a first aid kit, carefully rinsed the wound, sanitized it, and bandaged it up for her. He was not only professional and attentive, but also genuinely funny and kind, which helped turn a stressful moment into something much more manageable. That kind of care really stays with you. Flash made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived, and it set the tone for our stay. Exceptional service like that is what makes a hotel feel truly special. Thank you to Flash and the team at Waldorf Astoria Panama for going above and beyond.

A huge thank you to the entire restaurant team for their exceptional hospitality. William Smith was incredibly kind, as was José. Daillin, the restaurant manager, was also very attentive. In fact, the entire staff was unbelievably warm and helpful. The hotel is beautiful, and we also really enjoyed the pool and spa. Jared was very kind as well. I found this hotel to be exactly what you would expect of this historic name. Small details of care and elegance, even to the lamps and room decorations, where nothing was out of place aesthetically. Some aspects seemed dated; but in an intentional nostalgic or classic theme. Hector and the other staff were exactly what you would expect in a movie-version of a luxury hotel interaction. Several room service orders were all delicious and timely delivered. I found the prices surprisingly reasonable. Overall this is a phenomenal property for all the right reasons.

Al momento de checkin solo había una persona que atendía dos huéspedes diferentes lo cual generó una larga espera Después su actitud no fue la mejor al responder con ironía q ella había estado en los mejores hoteles del mundo y que así funcionaban todos ante mi pregunta de porque me cobraban la garantía y que me la devolverían en 5 días con lo cual no estuve de acuerdo Finalmente el día de checkout que fue a las,9 am no me entregaron un paquete importante que me habían dejado desde las 7:30 am El desayuno no tenía bakery fresco, se sentía de un día anterior

Localização muito boa, café da manhã excelente, quarto bastante confortável!

O hotel poderia ser mais bem cuidado, a piscina um pouco mal cuidada, a jacuzzi sem funcionar alguns dias, piscina sem aquecimento.
