Excellent service! The staff is wonderful, we just had one of the best gourmet breakfasts ever at Matiz. William and Anthony took very good care of us. Our Personal Concierge Oliver helped with restaurant reservations and transportation. He made this stay so very relaxing and easy. If you get him as your Personal Concierge you will be well served and very very happy. The room is wonderful, we are having a wonderful stay. Highly recommend this hotel. This is a six star hotel. And I do not make this statement lightly. We have travelled all over the world and rarely have we had this level of travel excellence.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel and will truly miss the staff. They are amazing people that I feel really got to know us. I will definitely come here again and recommend it to family and friends. I received great service during breakfast. It was so delicious. William Smith was the best and I will miss him. He did a wonderful job. We need people like this in Texas. I will be back. :-)

We stay here multiple times a year and keep returning. The number one reason we return is that the staff are wonderful. We are treated like family and always greeted as if we were part of there family. They go out of there way to help and assist. In particular William , has become a very good friend. He is so personable, kind and generous. We always look for his smile. Also Lilli and Oliver at concierge. They are truly great people. Also the location is very good. Close to great restaurants and entertainment. Although the hotel is a little older it has a warm and comfortable feeling. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. We kee returning! One of the best in the city

Everything in the hotel was perfect. The wait staff were all very friendly especially William Smith. He was very friendly and wanted to know guest names so he could assist them with their usual order. He was always very quick with coffee first thing in the morning and cleared plates away or added table settings for additional guests immediately. Overall, all the staff was excellent and made the experience in Panama a great one. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful breakfast experience at the Waldorf Astoria Panama, made truly memorable by our waiter, William Smith. From the moment we were seated, he welcomed us with genuine warmth and a friendly attitude that immediately set a positive tone for the morning. William was exceptionally attentive without ever being intrusive. He anticipated our needs, checked in at just the right moments, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. What stood out most was that his attentiveness wasn’t limited to our table—he consistently showed the same level of care and professionalism to all guests around us, keeping the entire dining area running smoothly. His friendliness felt natural and sincere, and he managed to balance efficiency with a calm, welcoming presence even during a busy breakfast service. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about guest experience. William Smith is a real asset to the team, and his service significantly enhanced our visit.

I’m the rooms. We’re great. Nice bathroom. Very clean

Views were not good, elevator broke down a bit, pool area not inviting and pool did not look clean. We did not get in. Also did not like that I was double charged for transportation and it was never fixed. Breakfast was expensive for what the choices. Ended up saying elsewhere

Very neat, clean and in order! Great location in the city as well! My experience with flash the Hotel security , was impeccable! He was always very courteous and on his job! All of the Bellman and support staff was always very courteous and helpful!
