A very warm welcome. Lovely room with comfortable bed. Some nice touches, ie, fridge with a space for water and milk for each room. Homemade.rock cakes in room. Breakfast - lots of choice and well cooked. Highly recommended and will be booking again.

Lovely clean room and comfy bed, great location for exploring Keswick and beyond.

Dalkeith Guest House was so cosy! The room had everything I needed, esp as a solo traveller. It’s a literal 5 min walk (if that) into the centre of Keswick, and as my first time visiting, I was so impressed. The breakfast was rather delectable, and you can choose from a few options to have the next day. The owners were so welcoming and I felt right at home. I would be back again! 🥰

The location was excellent, during my 2 night stay I visited the park, lake, shops, woodland areas, cinema and theatre and they were all very close to the guest house. The house is also minutes away from a bus route which goes through the heart of many local villages such as Grasmere and Ambleside and to the train stations at Penrith or Windermere. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and I’ll miss it now I’m back home! Rachel was a great and very accommodating host and my single room had everything I needed for a comfortable base and a great nights’ sleep.

I couldn’t find fault at all, I will definitely recommend this guest house to anyone looking to stay in Keswick.

Super clean and comfortable with very friendly hosts. The breakfasts were amazing.
