Burlington Hotel

Comfortable and warm hotel and helpful staff.

If I were to be picky it would be the bathroom needs updating.

We didn’t get to go to the Burlington it was cancelled last minute and we had to go to the wight which is located next door and apparently it was an upgrade which it clearly was not

We liked the look of the property that’s why we chose it but never got to stay as apparently there was a coach who canceled and they couldn’t stay open just for us as I got told please see photos of our stay at the wight

Bathroom was awful you had to run hot tap in bathroom sink to get hot water in shower however this never worked We ended up leaving early as bed was awful and there was a private party which we weren’t told about until arrival so Saturday night there was shouting and swearing in the courtyard be our room most of the night and fireworks being let off If we had known we would of cancelled our booking to somewhere else We were very disappointed also bathroom was very outdated

the squeaky bed :(( sos to be one of them customers but the bed kept waking me up whenever i’d roll and was also quite hard to lay on

Nothing!

I received an email to inform me that due to the Burlington hotel not having enough guests, they shut the hotel. I was told that i had been upgraded to the Wight hotel instead. The accommodation was in no way an upgrade, the room was smaller and dated, the bathroom had a bathroom suite from the 1970's or early 80's with mismatched toilet seat, the windows were mouldy at the bottom and one of them was missing both closing lugs. The other room had a bed with an old mattress which caused the springs to dig into your back.

Great place will.be staying again

The location is perfect and only yards from the beach, the room was large room that was clean and well presented. Large TV. Blackout curtains which keep the room dark even when the sun is up. A well set out folder with useful information. Taxi numbers and places to eat.

While at burlington hotel there was really only 1 thing that bothered me and that was 1 day the room wasn't restocked with tea,coffee and sugar. I went to reception and was given a couple of coffee and a few sugars.. I ended up going to buy a jar of coffee.
