The Coolidge Corner Guest House: A Brookline Bed and Breakfast

One bathroom. Having to share with other people. Was not able to take a shower, pee, or brush my teeth without someone in the bathroom. One person spent most of the morning on there and we had to leave to go pee.

A very nice stay in a more traditional Victorian House. Bed was very comfortable but room was small and a bit noisy.

shared bathroom , no sound insulation, decor from 1980 for $350, welcome to Boston! Staff were great but the algorithm has made this way too expensive for what it is.

Loved the Victorian decor and look of house. Room super comfortable and clean. Staff lovely .

Not suitable for persons with mobility issues I miss the home cooked meals of the B&B’s I’ve been to

Terrific location by Coolidge Corner and Longwood medical, but on a very quiet street . Room is basic+ interns of comfort but a great value relative to the location. Shared bathroom was no issue. Breakfast was excellent, as expected from a B&B . Staff was very responsive with regard to my very late arrival.

Cute house in a lovely and quiet residential neighbourhood, about a 5-minute walk from a streetcar stop. The owners take a hands-off approach and the only member of staff we ever saw or talked to was a cleaner, so it lacked a personal touch. The guest guide was basic and not fully up to date. A notice indicated snacks and drinks were available 24/7 but everything was cleared out after breakfast. There's one large table in the dining room for guests which felt really awkward because of my social anxiety (IMO there's room for several smaller tables to give guests some personal space). We appreciated free access to the laundry facilities and scent-free detergent. Very good bars and restaurants around the corner. Easy to reach downtown, but the T is very slow. It seemed lights in the hall were on all night, instead of being motion activated. Powerful shower. Temperamental TV. Some corners of our bathroom needed a deep scrub and the whole place would benefit from a refresh. Overall we felt it was a bit expensive for what we experienced.

Our stay here was very nice. We met some nice guests. We were sorry not to meet the hosts, though. The on-site managers were nice. Continental breakfast was very sufficient. Location is close to public transit and there are a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood. We enjoyed the area.

Boston was booked solid, but CC Guest House had a room and I snapped it up! I arrived late but check in materials were waiting for me. Room was comfortable, and shared bath was not a problem. Price unbeatable. And the Coolidge Corner area is delightful. I usually stay downtown when I visit Boston, but will definitely consider staying here again!

It was very quiet place, the staff was very friendly, they let us store the luggage in the room before noon, the Green line was in walking distance, The St. Paul stop was only 2 blocks away!!!
