Hotel is well situated to see the sights of Chester. However, staying in this hotel was like a Fawlty Towers experience with the management rude and staff bickering amongst themselves during the breakfast service. Chester is a lovely city but perhaps stay somewhere else.

Clean and tidy, nice comfy bed. Staff are friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Nothing unique really. Food not very good - roasts from frozen. Have never had to inform desk if I wanted room cleaned! Always took it for granted.

It was very an older property but with charm, the staff were lovely and very attentive, food was perfect, lovely breakfast so much, we had a great time, Chester is a must to see so much architecture

We enjoyed our stay. The Breakfast was very good. The shower was very poor had very little pressure. No good for washing hair. Took ages to rinse.

Very attentive team of staff. Limited parking but free street parking available very nearby. Unfortunately door cards were not working but staff were willing and quick to let me in my room with their master key. Unfortunately, I think that the extractor fan is connected to the kitchen's one and the toilet/shower room smelt of stale cooking oil, also wall next to bed needs a clean and lick of paint. Minor flaws in an inexpensive stay and welcoming staff made up for it too!

+ Well located hotel with friendly & efficient staff. - Our room needed a refresh - Car park capacity. Permanently full and only had 50% of spaces required. This was not made clear on booking. Luckily able to find street parking nearby

15 minute walk to Chester town centre was good
