Hotel was very friendly, clean and comfortable. I did have an issue with noise, lots of shouting from the living quarters and also the room above me was moving furniture around at 1.40 am...not impressed by being woke up at that time.

Very enjoyable, a long awaited visit to Chester. Good food and very friendly.

The property was in a very nice location. Pleasant stay. A wonderful breakfast.

Good breakfast and comfortable hotel, rooms are a little small. We had a problem with the toilet not shutting off, did report it but nothing seemed to happen. Otherwise well situated for walking into Chester.

The bed was lovely and comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable and the staff were friendly. We had the economy room, PAY THE EXTRA MONEY as the room was small, with no view, a bit dark and could do with modernising. But it did what we needed for a much needed weekend away.

Excellent place to stay. Very clean and oldy worldy place - great atmosphere and staff cant do enough for you. Very close to Chester city and sites. Woukd definitely stay here again.

The staff were very friendly and the food was good..The room was comfortable but a bit noisy from the traffic.

Really enjoyable stay. Rooms and decor of the hotel traditional with lovely character features. Rooms were comfortable and all facilities very clean. Food of good quality with reasonable amount of choice. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and efficient.
