We had a pleasant stay at the Brookside Hotel,our room was ok,although a little dated and quite noisy, and the breakfast was very good

Very welcoming reception and comfortable room equipped with everything I needed for the one night I stayed. Not requiring breakfast I had dinner shortly after I arrived and it was lovely. I can't fault this hotel in any way and would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely stay. Food was great. Staff were very friendly. The room was fine but the mattress on the bed was awful. It was like concrete. We both got no sleep all night and woke up with back pain. That is our only criticism.

First stay, good access the train station (15 min walk) excellent staff and everything you need for a brief work trip

Just an overnight stay in February. Very friendly staff on arrival and throughout our stay. Very comfortable and well decorated room, we had the four poster bed room. Well stocked with tea and coffee supplies. A good selection of cooked and continental breakfast items in the morning.Didnt break the bank Couldn't fault it.

The atmosphere of the hotel was friendly and warm decorated with a great taste giving a nice Christmas spirit.

Everything was fine.... except for noise from adjacent rooms, which was terrible. Paper thin walls.
