Benikea Calton Hotel Fukuoka Tenjin

It was a little expensive for the fact that we only got 2 beds for 3 people, and it was a bit of a walk to the bus stop, which you needed to get to the train station, so that added expense made it one of our least favorite hotels in our trip to Japan.

My boyfriend and I arrived at the hotel, lobby looked nice but the room was filthy and disgusting; there were stains all over the walls and the room smelled awful! Thank goodness you can open the windows. Ultimately though we had to ask for another room it was so bad. The next room was alright, nothing fancy at all but it was fine.

The hotel staff was friendly and professional, and the rooms were clean. My room was a bit small, but certainly adequate for my needs, and of course I chose the smallest room type-there are others. The neighborhood was a bit far from downtown, about 20 minutes on foot. However, it convenient to several small restaurants and convenience stores. There are bus stops along the road in front of the hotel that provide easy access to much of the city. Taking the bus to the nearest subway station takes only a few minutes.

Convenient place at the side of city, restaurants ,market around and walking distance to mall. Cozy room even though not big as most of Japan hotel, but still a good choice to stay.

I'm not one to complain about small rooms, but for the high price, I expected more. The room looked like a university dorm room with a desk and 18-inch tv to complete the dorm experience. Overall the hotel was adequate, the breakfast was okay, and the location was good. The hotel amenities were quite bare (shampoo, soap, and a toothbrush are provided), so if you need bottled water or coffee, bring your own.

it's a very nice one night stay and about 15 minutes taxi drive from the airport,staff are very helpful.

This hotel is ok, very similar to others in the same price range. Nothing bad about it. Everything is ok. Can stay if no other options.

This hotel is on the main street of Hakata, close to Tenjin. The room is small but Ok to sleep. B/F is yummy!!
