Stay for a week in the beginning of September the hotel is beautiful located on the beach has a modern feel to it hotel Was quite as it was low season but lots of staff the staff were all friendly and helpful the hotel was spotless throughout the gym was one of the best hotel gyms we have seen Had a partial sea view room on 3rd floor room was large modern and had everything we needed we booked an excursion through the hotel as prices we reasonable we eat at a few of the hotel’s restaurants they were ok but to be critical not as good as expected on one occasion food was cold In general we would give this hotel a solid 5/5 and recommend it

Family pool access room great with kids however balcony was so short you could not recline the deck chairs while facing the pool, other pool access rooms facing kids areavlooked like they had larger balconies. Kids club was great for kids. Beach is nice, too rough to swim in during the low season. Little ahop onsite was handy and shoet walk to many restaurants, cheaper than eating at hotel. Life jackets provided for swimming if required. Kids slides good for kids under 5. Room with showers and toilets for late check out was great.

The hotel is lovely and clean and the staff are great. We were b&b and the breakfast was great with a good choice for children. The pool and slides were great for the children and the kids club had some nice activities for us to go and do with our children (bracelet making etc.) I would recommend to those with young families.

Macus, Jacky, Nathan, Pop took great care of us with the buggy service. The food and service in general was excellent and would definitely come back!

Booked with confidence based on good reviews, and overall, I enjoyed my stay with my family. But something missing in the good reviews is worth mentioning. First, multiple smoking areas around the resort are very close to the corridor and the room, and you can easily smell it when you open the front door or balcony sliding door, which is really not ideal for family with little kids or kids allergy to smoking smells. Secondly, before my stay, I already read reviews mentioned that this resort could be full of kids during breakfast time and in also the main pool. But it is way too OVERCROWDED in the breakfast that makes you not feel any Thai-style vacation relaxing mood, and feel very stressful instead. But it is worth mentioning that the service is superb, very efficient and professional, and staff are well trained and super friendly.

Recently stayed at The Sands and it was fantastic. Beautiful spot for families, great facilities for the kids and lots to see and do!

We had a great stay here. Lovely staff & well located

We stayed here with our family for a week and we had a really fantastic time. The hotel grounds, gardens and facilities are immaculate and whilst it’s a huge hotel with lots of people, you don’t notice the crowds in the areas away from the children’s pool area and activity centre. This place is great for families with kids as there is plenty to do. Our room was really quite special with a nice comfy bed, a lounge area and an outside balcony overlooking the pool and beach. Breakfast was very good with fresh fruits, European options as well as Thai, so lots of choice. The hotel is close to restaurants along the main strip of you don’t want to eat in the restaurants in the hotel. The food in the restaurant was good but a bit on the pricey side. The hotel is right on a beautiful stretch of beach and you can walk along the beach in either direction. The beach further up to the right was dreamy and worth a stroll. The hotel has lots of bars which offer happy hour at different times which was nice, and the cocktails were very good. We had such an enjoyable, relaxing and memorable stay here and we would definitely recommend staying here. A very comfortable, stylish, safe and immaculately kept hotel with very good standards of cleanliness. Worth a visit!

Very nice hotel for families ! But not beach

We stayed here for 10 nights and lived in a perfect bubble of happiness. We were here with grandchildren who loved everything this resort had to offer. We had the all inclusive meal package and lived in a dream with everything supplied. Loved this place and will be back again.
