Hotel Kapil

Hotel needs to change its definition of room categories. Like for example: Super Deluxe room isn't really what super deluxe room should be. It's a very small room smaller than the rooms of most budget hotels.The only decent room sizes are of the suites. The only plus point is its proximity to the mall road.

Booked penthouse suite for 4 nights. It was very cosy with heater and electric blanket (essential in February). No restaurant but food can be ordered in room, which is a great option after a very busy day sightseeing. Staff were are pleasant and friendly.

friendly, clean and good location in Shimla. Very helpful staff with courtesy lift to within 5 minutes walk of town centre. No heating in bedroom, but electric blanket very welcome! Comprehensive room service offered.

Arrived to 6 inches of snow which made access quite tricky. Room had great view across the valley

Good for price, rooms degrading a bit, basic amenities. Great View, and ok location. Walking distance from Mall.

Had good experience though the rooms were small but ambiance and cleanliness and food etc. were excellent. Overall the staff was also very polite.

The room and the toilet were both very clean. Room service was very good. The amenities provided by the hotel and the location was also very nice. The only problem we noticed that there was no attached restaurant to sit and eat. But apart from that we wish to rate this hotel excellent.

Food is great ...view is awesome from the rooms and the staff are very friendly and hospitable. Very near to Mall road ... makes it ideal for a short visit to shimla.

At first look, I was apprehensive if I'd made the right choice. The lobby seemed small. The deluxe room I'd booked looked passable. But I was waiting 2 nights for my suite. The deluxe room was quite alright. Everything was extremely clean and well sanitized. The hotel staff was the best part of the experience. Very helpful & polite. Very central and well connected to every part of Shimla.

Staff were very courteous and helpful. Food was delicious. No lifts so carrying luggage up and down the narrow stairs was a bit tricky. Since this is a small hotel, there is no restaurant or dining area, all meals are served in your room. Views from my balcony were breathtaking.
