Perfect hotel clean and very helpful staff with courtesy car great room service and convenient location. It is missing a restaurent but there is one 2 mins away.

Has a great stay at Kapil Hotel. The food was very good and the facilities and customer service excellent.

May be revisited. Good hospitality, Good Food, Good interiors

I booked the room on 02.03.2014. ie, more than three months advance, but got the back side room with no view at all and the room with a little window in front of a wall little bit suffocating. This is the draw back of advance booking.

All staff of hotel is too good , but the person who sit on the reception in not well , he giving all information wrong , he makes is own rules to us which rule no means like he say that u r not coming to hotel after 10 pm .

Overall, i would say i had a good time at the hotel. Good staff, good rooms and good view from the room. You have climb a bit to reach the mall area though. However the hotel does provide one way complimentary transfer slightly up the hill so your climb becomes a bit easier. Overall, a good place to stay.

Booked it online . Was close to the mall road, around 10-15 mins walk. They would give you a free drop for 1/4th the distance. coming the facilities, I stayed in the penthouse room. It had a small balcony with a view, a tiny living room and a tiny bed room. The bathroom was clean and had many modern amenities like hair dryer, shower etc. They provide a chart of nearby places to visit. they even lent their umbrella when it started raining. Provided free wifi . Looks like they made optimal use of the limited space that they had. Dont let ur taxi drop u at the lift (which takes u to the top of the ridge). You have to walk a fair distance to reach this hotel with ur luggage.

The most clean and tidy hotel with these tariff rates in whole shimla, courteous staff.The food is slightly on the higher side but their presentation of the food is outstanding. Please keep it up.

Cosy, clean & comfortable "rooms only" hotel with helpful staff. Food was OK, but our room was small for taking meals in. Breakfast extra. The manager arranged an excellent taxi tour. We were fine, but rooms are not heated & we would have been uncomfortale if the weather had been colder.
