Hotel was cold. It was also at the bottom of a steep hill and had no amenities nearby.

Lovely cup of tea on arrival. Tea and coffee in room. Staff extremely helpful. Room a little dated but more than made up by amenities. Lovely food in room dining. Complimentary lift up the first hill to the Ridge (without this the walk up would have been too much for us as everything is on a hill in Shimla). Hairdryer (near mirror - how many times is it not!!!!). Taxi driver who took us on trip to Mt Hatu excellent driver. A must do trip for around 3000 rupees. All in all an excellent experience.

"Good"

Location is a bit further from the town area of Shimla but it is quiet.Food is great although there is no proper restaurant attached to it. Hot water system needs to be fixed also

"Comfortable and friendly hotel"

Would recommend for couples. With had a great view on the balcony even with our monkey visitors who caused us no problems.

"Great staff, extremely friendly service."

Pros: extremely friendly staff always eager to assist us; delicious room service food, well priced broad menu; free ride to Lakkar Bazaar; great location, only 10 mins walk to Mall Rd for shopping and sightseeing. Very clean room with a kingsize bed. Cons: no restaurant, so we had to eat in our room on the bed (we didn't mind but others might); firm bed (too hard for me but fine for my partner); small room. Would we stay there again? Absolutely! We loved the little extras provided by the staff... a flower on the dinner tray; shampoo, toothpaste and emergency kit provided in the bathroom; free transport to the bazaar; umbrella when raining.

"Lovely relaxing hotel"

Excellent little hotel, no separate room for restaurant only room service. Had penthouse and view was amazing. Staff very attentive, I had mentioned on booking that we were away for partners birthday and they surprised him with a gorgeous birthday cake.

"View of the Ganges"

Not a great deal to do after the boat rides on the Ganges, theres a rooftop resteraunt on top (all veggie) and a beers approx Ā£2 a tin šŸ˜³ but the view of the Ganges is tops šŸ˜† but 2 nights was enough
