Amazing property with beautiful views and hikes. Our room was clean and staff was very polite. Would definitely recommend!

We got room 6 which has the Wood burning fireplace and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast was good at the lodge but would not recommend lunch or dinner. There are plenty of local authentic restaurants at short walking distance that would be better choice. The area around the lodge is very peaceful scenic and serene. We enjoyed our stay

Exquisite architectural design, beautiful and peaceful place to rest and relax.

Fantastic location with stunning views. The public areas are lovely, beautifully designed and immaculately clean. The restaurant was surprisingly upmarket, considering it's location half way up a mountain, and the food was tasty and well prepared. The garden rooms were understandably basic, but again well equipped and perfectly clean, although probably overdue an update to the bathrooms. The only real spoiler was the apparent lack of any soundproofing between the garden rooms, which allowed us to hear almost everything that was said and done in the rooms nextdoor. Notwithstanding this, it was a lovely spot to stay for a night and as a launchpad from which to visit both La Paz Waterfall Gardens and the Poas Volcano.

Enjoyed our stay. Lovely property and rooms. We stayed in the Jacamar room which was very homely with an additional sitting area and fireplace and small enclosed garden which was constantly visited by hummingbirds. Although the property has its own restaurant it is in close proximity to other eateries. It is also in a good lication for visiting the volcano and La Paz Waterfall and Gardens.
