Camere La Torre

This is our favorite Cinque Terra village and this is an ideal place to stay. Beautiful view from a private terrace far bigger than our room itself ... the beach below to one side, the town and harbor to the other. The stairs and walk to the hotel is typical of the area - not easy, but no more stressful than any other. Breathtaking views. Would absolutely stay there again.

We booked an ocean view room, but couldn't see anything at all. The room was as small as a cage and it was super hot inside. We found a fan inside the closet without any warning of extra charge. We were waken up early in the morning by a man's loud voice, telling us we need to pay for using the fan! He was really rude and ill-mannered!

Enormous terrace, with great views! The room was small, but who cares, it's for sleeping. The bathroom was new, clean and surprisingly big.

As indicated by the name, our room was up the hill on the side of town near the tower. To access our room, we had a bit of a climb, including some crazy outside spiral staircases (though from the core of town this walk takes max 5 minutes). However, the view from our large balcony was worth it. Spectacular view of the town and surrounding area. The room itself was clean and functional - nothing fancy or modern, and definitely "Europe sized". But in an old town like Cinque Terre, I was expecting something basic like this. Owner was nice and polite, and check in was easy. Vernazza had a great atmosphere- my favorite of the 5.

I absolutely recommend staying at Camere La Torre. The owners/ staff were so friendly and accommodating, and the view from our room was incredible! We stayed in a room with a seaview and the view of the sea and of the town was breathtaking. The room was a little on the small side but the deck/ terrace more than made up for it. I also recommend checking out the restaurant, La Torre, as well.
