Camere La Torre

We chose this accommodation based on reviews describing the views from the patio. We anticipated a low level of service from previous reviews. So, we were not surprised when the trash wasn't emptied and the towels not changed during our three-day stay. We would not have wanted to stay longer without cleaning service but for the three days we were there, we just shrugged it off and enjoyed the great location and patio.

Absolutely loved our stay, but that's mainly because we got to hang out overlooking the beautiful village, landscape and sea from our patio. We booked the largest unit of (I believe) three total up top, and the owner had left a note for each of the occupants on the front gate with her phone number. She was still in the process of cleaning our room, and so we weren't able to get into our room until about 4pm, but still she was really nice. The unit has an upstairs room w/ couch, small refrigerator and an outdoor sink on the patio. The upper room leads to the bottom bedroom via spiral staircase and the bedroom tended to be quite humid (it has a porthole bored through the cliffside, which also results in you being able to listen to the ocean the entire time you're in there, awesome!). Pretty small, but it worked for our purposes! A place to sleep and hang in between exploring this amazing area. Also- we had dinner at the owner's restaurant the night we arrived, we were all alone at our table over the cliffside as the sunset and it was stunning. We're vegan, and the waiter was accomodating in making us the best spaghetti al pomodoro we'd ever had. Great stay all in all.

Our room wasn't much more than a place to sleep and shower - a small room not much bigger than the bed, but it was clean and served the purpose. The room had a very large private patio with an excellent view of Vernazza. The weather was nice, so we were able to spend most of our time out on the patio drinking wine and listening to the waves.

The major negative was that we were locked out of our room for 1.5 hours our first night until we forced the key to unbolt the deadlock. The manager lives in La Spezia and was no help. Otherwise, the room was adequate. It is up a lot of stairs, as is most everything in Vernazza.

The room had a very tiny bathroom that ran out of warm water after just one person and she had turned the water off when soaping or shampooing to try to conserve. The sheets were very sticky, probably from humidity, but pretty unpleasant. On the positive side, one of the staff (I think the mother of the owner), allowed us to stow our bags in her garden shed while we were out and about during the day because we did not leave town until 5pm. Thatw as much appreciated

Fairly basic accommodation, but perfect for what we wanted. The apartment was in a great location between the harbour and the railway station and was comfortable enough for a family of four (including two young children) We arrived slightly early, but we were made very welcome and were able to leave our bags while our room was prepared. The apartment is in a great location to explore the Cinque Terre with the boats and trains being very close by. Everything was clean and tidy and we couldn't have asked for more. It was great opening the shutter windows in the morning and looking down at the market below! You can't get your car into the town centre, but need to leave it in a pay and display car park up quite a steep hill. There is a shuttle bus that runs from the car park down to the town, but we were able to walk it both ways without too much trouble. There are quite steep steps up to the apartment, so don't get caught out carrying loads of bags!

We stayed in the sea view room on the top terrace and the view was absolutely incredible! The room was not far from the train station and was very clean and updated. The owners were very nice and helpful as well. Vernazza is a great village to stay in!

The staff was positive and helpful. The views were breathtaking. The rooms were small, but because there was balcony access it was fine.

Great room with a huge terrace with incredible views of the sea. Absolutely gorgeous. The restaurant (just a few more steps up the hill) offered great food a reasonable prices. The staff was friendly, courteous, and professional. This is a great location that is within walking distance to everything on this beautiful quaint little village. We arrived by train and walked a couple hundred meters from the train station up to the hotel. Loved it.
