"A 3 star hotel that feels more like a 4 star"

I have stayed at the Croft a number of times with work and have always been surprised when I'm told its a 3 star hotel. The look and feel of the hotel from when you arrive to when you go to your room feels more like a 4 star. The rooms are always comfortable and clean with great bathrooms. I have always found staff to be helpful and friendly from check-in, to the bar and restaurant staff. Nothing has ever been too much trouble. The food is also amazing and that in itself and always gets 5 stars from me. This hotel is a real gem and I always look forward to staying. Whether you are a solo traveller, couple, family or pet owner - the Croft has something to offer. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Nice hotel but mixed service from the Staff. Some completely lovely but majority (Receptionists and Waitress at breakfast) uninterested and borderline rude. Still waiting for a refund and shocked by a comment made on checkout about a colleague.

We absolutely loved this hotel. We arrived to a warm welcome and a complimentary upgrade too. The room was amazing. Lots of space, very clean and tidy it was perfect. All the staff were amazing and happy to help with any of our questions. We had breakfast, and that was delicious. We would definitely recommend and we will be booking again soon.
