very friendly hotel staff, well maintained hotel

We stayed two nights at the hotel for the purpose to visit Dusseldorf shopping and Xmas markets. This hotel was outstanding. Very good location, only fifteen minutes away from the city centre. Outstanding service and very comfy stylish rooms. We enjoyed eating at the restaurant area of the hotel and the breakfast meal was outstanding although we thought slightly expensive. Overall an outstanding hotel.

We stayed here and commuted by bus and train to Cologne Trade Show.

The hotel was excellent but the location difficult to find. Even with GPS we had problems to find it becuse it was practically "in the middle of nowhere" and quite a way from the DUS airport

The hotel was recently built and all fixtures and fittings were in good order..Receptionist could not have been more helpful and all this with a choice of restaurants and even a ski slope.

Hotel stay was great. We're not skiers but the facilities looked great. The room was clean with all needed amenities. Breakfast was great and fairly priced. We were't particular about our surroundings since we travelled around the area by car. All in all I totally recommend this hotel.

An excellent hotel, with unique styling and very efficient, friendly service. The rooms are very well equipped and clean, restaurant was excellent and breakfast very nice although expensive. The facilities were excellent and although I didn't have time to use it, the ski slope on site looks fantastic! I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

This is an exceptional 5 star hotel built next to an artificial indoor ski resort. In the middle of farm country 15 minutes West of Dusseldorf is a surprising gem. Every detail of the hotel is first class. The public spaces and the rooms have a warm and welcoming decor mixing wood with the most modern fixtures. It seems totally new. I didn't use the skiing but it looked like fun. Free parking Free wifi. Great B'fast.

Stayed here several times now. So much to offer . Wish I had more time to use the facilities. Good breakfast , maybe little pricey.

I have to say I love this hotel , facilities are great ,this was my 3rd stay but by no means was as good as the previous visits. Spoiled by the arrogant and unfriendly back reception staff. I decided to stay an extra night , was guaranteed a room for sure but was unable to physically re book in at the reception desk before I departed for my meetings for that day. Big mistake, I travelled 2.5 hours back to the Fire &Ice only to find there was no room for me . I was bumped out to "equivalent" Dorint Hotel but by no means was the same .
