Hotel Fire & Ice

I just spent the last month across several countries of Europe and this was by far my favorite hotel. Good sized rooms, friendly staff and tons to do without leaving the grounds. The price was excellent for what you get. Not a far drive into Dusseldorf, but there's so much to do (mini golf, skiing, obstacle course, etc.) you don't need to leave the hotel. The food was excellent and the beer too. Will gladly stay again if I ever return to Germany.

The family suite was perfect - bunk beds for kids a hit! Restaurant food superb. Helpful staff. Fun playground and mini golf. Didn't ski - but fun to watch others! Great experience all around!

My son is still talking about the bunk beds. Lots of space in the family suite. Charming and reasonable prices. Truly recommend despite gruff staff.

On first arrival the staff were great. At check out the staff had cooled off. The hotel was very nice and a great family suite. This was perfect for our family of four. The breakfast was very good with some interesting additions. All food fresh and good selection We decided to ski so asked for a late checkout and paid an additional 30 euros for this. I would definitely recommend the hotel to friends if in the area

Reserved this room blindly and while in a hurry, because I needed a place relatively close to the airport. I had no idea that it was a resort style hotel. Almost bizarre, in a pleasant way, there is an indoor ski slope, terrain park, miniature golf conjoined with the hotel. The room and decor are Alpine style and immaculate. Very pleasant for our young family. Room price was unexpectedly low. The restaurant was superb. We would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel with fun activities. The food is great. The staff is super-friendly and helpful.

Great quality hotel, modern, clean, comfortable, good value for money, but noise during the night was terrible. The hotel hosts a club/disco/bar over the weekend. We were woken twice at 2 am and 4am from noisy hotel guests with absolutely no consideration for others.

Good Hotel. Wifi was very poor. You continuously got disconnected even in the lobby. For a hotel like this, they need to have a better service. Also, they left a free bottle of water the first day, but would not replenish for the rest of days.
